Robert Dys and Heather Clemons identified last week’s 1969 photograph of The Dalles dam, above, as taken from the Oregon side, with a view of dam administration buildings.

“That photo was taken just inside the ... guard shack on the West side of the offices,” Dys specified. Dys noted building in the foreground is part of the admin and maintenance cluster of buildings. Clemons recognized the fish ladder, old admin buildings, parking lot and eastern entry to the generator building.
