Entertainment Update, Sept. 26 edition

Hillbillies’ last ride? Catch them at Streets Alive. Sources say that the performance of the Hapa Hillbillies at noon on the corner of Pine and Eighth streets for the Streets Alive festival will be the last public appearance “for quite some time,” according to frontman Ben Bonham. You may have to take a walk down Fiesta Alley (aka 13th and Taylor), featuring Banda Purisima from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and Los Amigos de la Sierra from 1:30-3 p.m., to cheer you up. Look for other bands playing on June, Pine and Fifth streets during the event. — Jim Drake
