Help the Hood River County Library District win a visit from Nick Bruel, famous author of the Bad Kitty series!
In honor of Bad Kitty’s birthday on May 13, 2015, Macmillian Publishing Group is putting on a display contest. Libraries and bookstores can create a Bad Kitty display and show it for seven full days before May 31.
We invite you to create an original artwork of your favorite Bad Kitty book cover or Bad Kitty scene. Quotes on why you love Bad Kitty are welcome too. Please submit your artwork to the Hood River Library kids desks by Thursday, May 21. All submitted artwork will be on display at the Hood River Library through the end of May.

Wasco Bros. play May 9

‘Voltage’ rocks Eagles May 9
Dirty Voltage, a tribute to AC/DC, comes to The Dalles Eagles Lodge on Saturday, May 9, show starts at 7 p.m. Admission is $5, 21 and over only.
