The Rugs at Trillium July 11

Ruins open at Springhouse
Hood River's Springhouse Cellar continues its summer Ruins Tuesdays Concert Series. This popular weekly series features live music from top NW bands, local wines, beers and specialty food vendors. The events will be free and all-ages from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., and then become 21 and over only after 7 p.m., with a $3 entrance fee. Attendees will be able to avoid the $3 entry fee by arriving before 7 p.m. In case of inclement weather, shows will move inside to the Back Room at Springhouse Cellar.

Woodland fairies and sprites will wander the gardens at Maryhill Museum of Art in Goldendale on Saturday, July 19, at 3 p.m. when the Portland Actors Ensemble presents a free performance of one of Shakespeare’s most beloved plays, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
The popular comedy follows the adventures of four young star-crossed lovers, a group of amateur actors, and a duke and a duchess as they chance upon mischievous fairies and their elves in a magical forest. The production is part of the company’s annual Shakespeare-in-the-Parks series, which makes live theater accessible to a wide audience.
Volcanic celebrates 4 years
