Thunder Island Brewing is concluding its three-part Pacific Crest Trail Speaker series April 23 with “A Love Gone Wild.” Seth Conde and Amy Buglione share their story of getting engaged while through-hiking PCT in 2013. Mountain Film Fest April 24-26
Hood River Mountain Film Festival, aka “Best of the Fest,” returns April 24-26 at Skylight Drafthouse Theater and Pub, presented by Mr. Elive Productions. Tickets are $20 for 12 adventure, environmental and adrenaline short films, ranging from 3 to 26 minutes. The festival features films from Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival and Banff Film Festival. Selections include “Caleb,” voted top kayaking film of 2014, “Dream,” by Gorge filmmaker Skip Armstrong and filmed on the White Salmon River, and the featured film, “Sufferfest 2.”
Aaron Meyer show May 1

‘Voice’ finalist Taylor John Williams plays Gorge April 26
The Griffin House opens its musical season with a house concert by Taylor John Williams on Sunday, April 26. Williams, an Oregon native, has become well known around the world after competing on "The Voice" with a fifth place finish.

Art of Movement returns April 25
Columbia Center for the Arts and Columbia Gorge Dance Academy are proud to present for the 10th year, “Art of Movement,” a celebration of local dance on April 25 returns at Columbia Center for the Arts. “Art of Movement will celebrate with two performances at 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on April 25.
This event will showcase a wide range of dance and movement available in the Columbia Gorge.
2015 brings exciting new works from Columbia Gorge Dance Academy’s Company Dancers, Scarlet Thistle Tribal Dancers, Lindy Hop, Salsa, Hip Hop, Tap, performance Yoga and more. The evening will include special guests TriptheDark Dance Troupe and Gemini Salsa from Portland.
