Hood River Mountain Film Festival, aka “Best of the Fest,” returns April 24-26 at Skylight Drafthouse Theater and Pub, presented by Mr. Elive Productions. Tickets are $20 for 12 adventure, environmental and adrenaline short films, ranging from 3 to 26 minutes. The festival features films from Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival and Banff Film Festival. Selections include “Caleb,” voted top kayaking film of 2014, “Dream,” by Gorge filmmaker Skip Armstrong and filmed on the White Salmon River, and the featured film, “Sufferfest 2”.

David Crowe Comedy Night at the Columbia Gorge Hotel

‘Gelato’ plays April 16
Mid-Columbia Community Concert Association proudly presents Quartetto Gelato. This group of energetic and accomplished musicians has been dazzling audiences and critics around the world for nearly two decades.
The concert starts Thursday, April 16, at 7 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church, 3350 Columbia View Dr., The Dalles. Season ticket holders are free, but general audience can purchase tickets at the door, Klindt's Book Sellers and Columbia River Music.
The evening will blend musical virtuosity, artistic passion and humor. All four musicians are classically trained and present a performance repertoire that spans the globe including classical masterworks, operatic arias and the sizzling energy of tangos, gypsy and folk songs.
‘Voice’ finalist Taylor John Williams plays Gorge April 26
The Griffin House opens its musical season with a house concert by Taylor John Williams on Sunday, April 26. Williams, an Oregon native, has become well known around the world after competing on "The Voice" with a fifth place finish.
His performance at The Griffin House is part of William’s Northwest house concert tour. Limited seating is available and tickets must be reserved through the Fanswell website (fanswell.com /show/BKV7Dxm7ax).
