Current evacuation levels are:
Level 1 (Get Ready): From the Tygh Ridge/Highway 197 intersection directly due east to 60833 Tygh Ridge Road, to include Hulse Road.
Level 2 (Get Set): From north side of Highway 216, from milepost 1 to milepost 3.
Level 3 (Go Now): All of Conroy Road up to 1 mile east and west side of Conroy Road north of Highway 216, and Macks Canyon Campground.
Level 2 Get set evacuation zone from Canyon Rd/Hwy 216 due east to the Deschutes River and due south to Oak Springs Rd to Deschutes River.
In the south, Level 2 (Get Set) evacuations stretch from Canyon Road/Highway 216 due east to the Deschutes River and due south to Oak Springs Road to Deschutes River.
Public lands on the lower Deschutes River in Sherman and Wasco counties are closed while the fire is active nearby, to reduce conflict between public use and emergency crews.
Among the responding agencies are Mosier, BLM, Juniper Flat Maupin, Dufur and Tygh Valley resources. Local rangers are responding as well. Air support responded to attempt to stop the fire’s forward movement.
