HOOD RIVER — Hood River Valley Parks and Recreation District (HRVPRD) invites the community to a free Community Open House to learn more about the future of the Hood River Aquatic Center. The event will take place on Wednesday, July 9, from 6–8 p.m. at the Aquatic Center and is open to all ages.

This family-friendly event includes free admission to the pool, light refreshments, and the chance to ask questions and share your thoughts about the future of the community’s pool. Attendees will hear directly from the architects and aquatic experts conducting the current facility options study. They’ll provide updates on the study’s findings, explain the challenges facing the aging facility, and ask the community for feedback about the current facility.
