HOOD RIVER — H is for Harvest is back!
On Thursday, Sept. 25, Thrive Hood River will hold its annual fundraising gala at The Ruins from 5:30-8:30 p.m. The party brings friends and supporters together to celebrate the beauty of Hood River County and support Thrive’s mission of protecting livability, agriculture and wild places.
The event will feature updates on Thrive’s activities, including a video featuring orchardist Jennifer Euwer, speaking about farming; a speaker on forest and wildfire issues; and Associate Director and Managing Attorney of 1000 Friends of Oregon Mary Kyle McCurdy, speaking about statewide land use. Appetizers from local, women-owned small businesses will be served followed by a silent auction and raffle, which will take place during the evening.
In addition, Thrive will hold an online auction running from Sept. 14 to Oct. 5.
