HOOD RIVER — The Columbia Gorge is recognized as one of the West Coast’s premiere wine regions.
Don’t miss this showcase of sixteen area wineries all in one location. The Columbia Gorge Wine Festival will be Saturday, May 4 at the Hood River Fairgrounds from noon to 5 p.m.
There will also be professional artists present that will feature such items as photography, jewelry, fiber art, designer purses, painting, furniture and more. Spend the afternoon listening to music, trying the food carts and enjoying the wine of the Gorge.
Purchasing tickets in advance is less expensive and can be obtained by going to hrcef.org.
Adanced tickets are $27 which include six drink tickets. Tickets will also be available at the door for $35 and extra drink tickets may be purchased on site. Non-drinkers are $10 and anyone under 21 is welcome free of charge. Families are welcome to attend.
For out-of-town guests, the Best Western Plus Hood River Inn will have room discounts for festival attendees. There are also RV sites for rent at the fairgrounds for $25 and can be reserved on-line at hrcef.org.
All proceeds from this event will support the Hood River County Education Foundation.
