HOOD RIVER — Do you have a passion for learning about the natural world around you? Are you fascinated by the plant, animal, geological, weather and human connections that make the Gorge so unique? Are you interested in using what you learn as a volunteer?  Maybe the Oregon State University Master Naturalist program is for you! Graduates from this course volunteer in a wide variety of ways including educating others, helping with habitat restoration, helping to monitor wildlife and collecting data to contribute to scientific research.

The Columbia Gorge Master Naturalist field course will begin its seventh year in April. The course includes seven monthly field sessions and runs through September. It is taught by a team of incredible local instructors who are current or retired professionals in their fields.
