WSU-Klickitat County Cooperative Extension will sponsor another series of Master Gardener classes beginning April 6.
The first class will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Goldendale Grange. Classes will be held the first Saturday of every month for 10 months.
Participants will receive 60 hours of instruction on various topics related to gardening and horticulture including botany, soils, pest management, vegetables, sustainable landscaping and much more.
The registration fee of $45 will be returned after participants complete 90 hours of gardening-related volunteering in the two years after training.
Participants can opt out of the volunteering obligation but will not receive a refund.
Class size is limited and there is an application process involved.
Interested persons should call WSU-Klickitat County Cooperative Extension at 773-5817 or stop in at 228 W. Main St. in Goldendale for more information or to apply for this program.
