The Pioneer Memorial Community Church is planning a Youth Hangout for July 1 and 29 for sixth through 12th graders. Young people are invited to hang out for the evening to play games, eat, and just have a fun time. All sixth through 12th graders are welcome!
For those with dusty vehicles and a sweet tooth, the PMCC has something for you. A car wash and bake sale are scheduled for July 9 beginning at 9 a.m. at the church. A hotdog feed is also part of the fund-raising activities planned for that day. Proceeds from the car wash, bake sale and hotdog feed will help kids with scholarships for the Columbia River Bible Camp held later this summer.
For anyone interested in participating in the school-community garden, weekly work parties are on Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m. Come out and help weed, keep the garden in shape and share in the harvest as it becomes available.
