A total of 484 students earned straight As and another 2,411 earned a 3.5 or better to make the listing. To be on the honor roll, students must carry at least 12 graded hours of course work.

The local students on the list were Aharon La Grander, a freshman in business administration, and Molly McNab, a junior in zoology.

Janney makes dean's list

Kristin Janney of White Salmon has made the Seattle Pacific University winter quarter dean's list.

Students on the list have completed at least 12 credits and attained a 3.5 or higher grade point average.
