Bingen Postmaster Janice Reilly and Appleton Postmaster Loretta West were recently recognized as part of an ongoing effort by the United States Postal Service to highlight the outstanding service provided in local post offices.
At an awards ceremony in Portland, the two were applauded for their part in making the region one of the Postal Service's top rated service providers.
"Ms. Reilly and Ms. West have consistently provided excellent service for our customers in Bingen and Appleton," said Dallas Keck, Portland district manager.
The two were also recognized for developing excellent relationships with the local customers, providing a safe workplace and improving the workplace environment.
Keck took special note of the consistent on-time delivery of local First Class and Priority Mail.
"These services are vital for residents and business in our communities. I commend the skill and hard work that Ms. Reilly and Ms. West have brought to this position."
