Off-road recreation group announces Aug. 21 organizational meeting

During the meeting, members will be enrolled and officers will be elected. Also, the association plans to adopt its bylaws and mission statement and schedule its first work party.

Membership in the association is open to dirt bikers, mountain bikers, equestrians, ATV and 4-wheel-drive enthusiasts and others interested in preserving, maintaining and developing off-road trail systems and preventing trail closures.

Dues in the association are $10 per year; a lifetime membership is $100.
