LISA COCHRAN
Lisa Cochran passed away on Nov. 16, 2009. She was born on March 7, 1965, in White Salmon to John and Patsy Cochran. Three years later, her little brother Wayne joined them. Lisa grew up in Hood River, Ore., always near her loving grandparents and extended family.
She loved ballet and performed in many dance programs. She played the piano and many times would come home, sit down and play a song before doing anything else. Lisa was the first girl in Hood River to play soccer but had to play on a boys team. She excelled at the sport and was proud that she equaled them in ability. Her desire was to be an author, and she left us with many of her wonderful writings. Lisa's favorite movie from childhood and as an adult was "The Wizard of Oz." Thanksgiving always meant watching it again, as we will be doing this year.
The loves of her life were her three daughters Chlo‰, Caitlin, and Abigail. They were the Four Musketeers and were usually seen together. They lit up Lisa's life with such joy she never wanted to be away from them. She loved animals large or small and couldn't turn away a stray, so the girls could always talk her into another pet.
Although she left us at such a young age, we are forever blessed to have had Lisa in our lives. Remember her for her kindness and smile.
She is survived by her precious daughters, Caitlin and Abigail; her brother and family, Wayne and Misty, Sophie and Hudson John Cochran of Lake Oswego, Ore.; her father and mother, John and Patsy Cochran of Hood River; her grandmother Henegar of White Salmon; her companion, Michael; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Chlo‰; her loving grandparents, Ray and Vivian Cochran; and her Aunt Perky.
A private family service was held Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, at Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon.
