Hood River County Historical Museum, located in Port Marina Park in Hood River, will be holding its third annual appraisal fair on Sunday, June 27, from 1 to 5 p.m.
This is the third year for this event. Last year's event was successful with approximately 80 people bringing in items to be appraised.
Returning for their second year are appraisers Sandra Millius and Jeff Motsinger. The pair are co-owners of Millius Estate Services in Portland. Millius is an expert appraiser of personal property including antiques, decorative arts and furnishing. They are both members of the International Society of Appraisers.
No firearms or precious stones will be appraised.
Only 15 reservations will be taken for each hour of the fair. Only one item per person will be appraised. A waiting list of five people will be taken for each hour; however no guarantees can be given that time will allow these slots to be included.
While this service is being provided free, a suggested donation of $3 per item would be appreciated to help defer costs.
