Residents from every corner of Klickitat County will be making tracks to the county fair in Goldendale next week.
The 62nd annual get-together at the county fairgrounds officially kicks off next Thursday morning, Aug. 25, and winds up next Sunday evening, Aug. 28.
This year's event will feature the usual fair fare--exhibits, barbecues, livestock shows and live entertainment--plus two sessions of NPRA-sanctioned rodeo action in the Bill Conboy Arena.
Daily passes to the fair are $6 per day or $12 per season for adults; $5 and $10 for seniors (age 62 and over); and $4 and $8 for juniors (ages 6-12). Children 5 and under get in free when accompanied by an adult.
