'Lights On' celebrates afterschool programs

The event joins the national "Lights On" event celebrating afterschool programs across the country.

Students will receive awards, provide entertainment, and share afterschool projects.

Klickitat County Parent Services will share family learning information, and the White Salmon Library will provide library card sign-ups at the event.

The Senior Service MAT bus will provide transportation home after the event to Bingen, White Salmon, BZ and Husum stops.

The event is free to all parents of students attending POD, volunteers and mentors, as well as community members interested in learning more about the program.
