Children ages 5-10 and their families are invited to enjoy The Jitterbugs: Musical Nonsense, an interactive concert to be performed at the White Salmon Valley Community Library on Saturday, Feb. 25, at 2:30 p.m.

The Jitterbugs have been playing in the White Salmon area for years, mostly at the Hollow Log on Jewett Creek. Clover and Thistle play many different instruments -- saxophone, trumpet, flute and cello -- to name a few. Basil is the drummer. Because they are bugs, they are hard to see, but their musical talent is evident. The newest member of the group, Bob, plays keyboard and is human. The other Jitterbugs hired him with hopes of success as a crossover band.
