Hood River museum opens as gift to community

The museum does not charge admission, however, donations are always appreciated.

While some of the exhibit cases are in the process of being changed over the winter months, the majority of exhibits from the "Seasons: Diaries of Time" exhibit are still in place.

A few new exhibit cases have already been completed: Oregon and Hood River; Hispanic History in Hood River; Early Native American Tools and Toys; and Christmas in the Schoolroom.

"This is our way of providing a great family get away during the holidays and at the same time say thank you to the community for its continued support of the museum," said Connie Nice, museum coordinator.
