Cascade Cliffs opens on Oak St.

The spacious serving space, with tables as well as a long bar, features exposed brick walls and plenty of polished wood. The bar back wall will feature a mural depicting the Cascade Cliffs vineyards, near Wishram, Wash. The winery tasting room also remains open.

Hood River tasting room hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; hours are subject to change this summer.

"We're really happy to have Cascade Cliffs in Oregon," said Bob Talboy of Pendleton, visiting the new tasting room with his wife, Connie, last week.

"This is a really nice piece of rural Washington that we're glad has a home on this side of the river," Connie said. They are longtime members of the winery's wine club. The new tasting room will feature a "reserve bar" for club members and private tastings.
