A 10-hour college course on one of the most important themes of the New Testament, the Kingdom of God, will be presented by Dr. Dwayne Lusk of Dallas, Texas Sept. 19-21 in The Dalles.
The course is one of the monthly bible college courses offered by Christian Life School of Theology of The Dalles.
Dr. Lusk will emphasize the practical nature of the Kingdom, such as the development of character and maturity, stewardship of finances and time, and parenting and relationship principles.
Practical Kingdom relationship principles will be discussed, such as forgiveness, keeping short accounts, having the courage to confront and be confronted, becoming real, identifying with people, learning to listen and the power of affirmation.
Course sessions are scheduled for Thursday and Friday, 7-9:50 p.m., and Saturday from 9-12:50 p.m.
The course can be taken for credits toward an associate bachelor of master of theology degree, or as a one-time seminar.
The cost for credit is $105, while the seminar cost is $55. Both prices include textbook and course syllabus and study guide.
