Author searches for Celilo

Rohrbacher is the author of Zen Ranching and the Farming Game and the inventor of The Farming Game, a popular board game. He is also a former Gorge Commissioner from Washington who became interested in Celilo Falls when he moved to a cattle ranch in Klickitat County.

He first saw an old black and white photo of Celilo Falls while waiting in line for his truck license. That was in 1976 and he has had a 30-year fascination with the falls ever since.

He will be discussing Celilo Falls and the impact its loss has had in many areas, including how it affected the Native Americans. He has written his first novel, Celilo Falls: the Story of a Murder, and will do a book signing following the program.
