The public is invited to a Columbia Gorge Audubon Society field trip at the Taylor Lake riparian slough near the Discovery Center in The Dalles on Feb. 9.

Habitats ranging from ponds, open and vegetated shoreline, rock bluffs, upland meadows, shrubby woodlands and protected arms of the Columbia River promise a diversity of birds to see and hear.
