The Hood River Downtown Business Association and GorgeArts in association with local artists, performers and businesses recognize independent artists of the Gorge during First Friday in Hood River on July 4, 2003.

Highlighted artists for the July event include Evlory Dearing, Ruth Reflexions, Mary Eberle, Cheryl Hall, Cathleen Rehfeld, Kathryn Snyder, Elizabeth Anderson, Susan Kline, Richard Hallman of Freelance Imaging, Sally Bailey, Dyann Andresen of Sunrise Inspirations, Maren McGowan, Sasha Decker, John Mayo, and Carousel Art Historians. This month's show at the Columbia Art Gallery will be "Art and Politics."
