Delta Kappa's 14th annual Home Tour will be held Sunday, Sept. 26, from 1 to 5 p.m.
The tour starts at Hawk's Ridge on Pacific Avenue, Hood River. Refreshments will be served there. Some apartments will be opened for touring in this adult assisted living facility.
Tickets, maps and information will also be available at Hawk's Ridge. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Waucoma Book Store and at Mt. Hood Hamlet B&B for $8. Tickets purchased on the day of the tour will be $9.
This will be a lovely tour in the upper valley, a variety of homes clustered in the Mt. Hood area, including a beautiful log home, a New England salt box-styled country home, a unique modular home, a grand octagon shaped villa, a chalet and a stylish B&B.
Ladies from the Red Hat Society and volunteers will be hostesses in the homes to provide information and answer questions.
Proceeds from the tour will be used to purchase needed items for Hood River Valley's Elementary Schools.
