Trout Lake/Glenwood boys extend streak

The Trout Lake/Glenwood High girls team earned a win and a tie last week in OSAA Class 3A/2A/1A Special District 1 girls soccer. The Mustangs won an Oct. 2 nonleague home game 1-0 over the Westside Christian High Eagles (1-3 league, 5-3 overall). The Mustangs followed with a 1-1 tie versus the Western Christian High Pioneers (1-4 league, 2-7-1 overall) Oct. 5 in Salem.

The Horizon Christian School Hawks’ losing streak reached 10 straight in OSAA Class 3A/2A/1A Special District 7 boys soccer following two defeats last week. The Hawks (0-10) lost 7-0 Sept. 30 at home to the Faith Bible High Falcons (6-2), followed by an Oct. 3, 7-1, loss at CS Lewis Academy (3-7) in Newberg.
