For three quarters, the Sherman Huskies stayed right on task with No. 1-ranked Horizon Christian, but a 16-4 second-quarter run provided all of the cushion needed to propel the Hawks to their 19th consecutive win, 63-42, Friday night in a Big Sky boy’s contest in Hood River.

Horizon led 16-13 after one quarter and padded that slim lead with outputs of 16-4 and 12-10 in the next two frames to jump ahead by a 44-27 margin entering the fourth quarter.
