Ranger duo picks up second place at state

The Dufur High School clay target team competed in the Oregon High School State Tournament last weekend in Hillsboro. On top are, from left, Peyton Neal, Parker Wallace, Louis Red Cloud, Karl Wilson and Kyler Powell. Of the eight Ranger participants, Neal and Powell both took home second-place awards for their division.

DUFUR – Of the eight Dufur Ranger shooters, Peyton Neal and Kyler Powell stood tall under the pressure and under the sweltering 98-degree weather.

Neal and Powell each claimed second place to lead Dufur High School at the Oregon High School Clay Target State Tournament last weekend at the Hillsboro Trap and Skeet Club in Hillsboro.
