In December, The Port of The Dalles awarded consultant Matthew Buck a contract to develop a comprehensive feasibility study for a Food Learning and Business Center in The Dalles., according to Andrea Klaas, port executive director.

The project will be funded in part by a grant from USDA Rural Development.
