Chemical depot memorabilia heads to museum

Eventually, the items will be available for online searches. People from across the country will be able to find information from the depot’s history, including the now-declassified investigation of a 1944 explosion that killed six people.

Those were the only fatalities in the history of the depot that opened at the beginning of World War II and at one time stored 12 percent of the nation’s stockpile of chemical weapons.
