THE DALLES — The No. 3-ranked Dalles High Riverhawks (3-2) extended their OSAA Class 4A boys basketball win streak to three straight after getting two nonleague road wins last week.
The Riverhawks, led by Oliver Stevens’ school record 56 points, recorded a season-high point total in a 102-56 win over the Class 3A Corbett High Cardinals (1-3) Dec. 9 at Corbett High School. Stevens shot 82 percent (14-for-17) from the field; he sank seven 3-point field goals, and he shot 63 percent (7-for-11) from the free-throw line.
The 102 points scored by the Riverhawks represented their highest total in more than 12 years.
The Riverhawks followed with a 75-45 win over the No. 8-ranked Astoria High Fishermen (3-1) Dec. 13 at Astoria High School.

That contest is the first of four games in four days for the Riverhawks, who will compete in the Seaside Class Tournament Dec. 18-20 at Seaside High School. The Riverhawks play their opening contest Dec. 18 at 3:30 p.m. versus Elma (3-2) of the WIAA Class 1A Evergreen League in Washington.
