WHITE SALMON — Columbia High’s 2025 boys soccer team, unbeaten in regular season play, had seven players represented on the Trico League’s all-conference squad, including the player of the year, Isaac Reynoso.
Reynoso, a junior, was honored as the Trico’s top player by a vote of conference coaches. He also was one of two Class 1A players recognized on the all-Vancouver region soccer team, published by the newspaper Columbian.

Reynoso finished the season with 27 goals and helped the Bruins advance to the WIAA Class 1A state semifinals. The Bruins would finish the 2025 season fourth in state, under Coach Gio Magana.
Columbia goalkeeper Ricardo Cortez was named co-Goalkeeper of the Year.

Junior Ricardo Cortez was selected co-goalie of the year for Columbia; Bruin senior Cole Wooding was chosen to the first-team defense; junior Matthew Miller made first-team midfield; and freshman Benson Zendt was a first-team pick at forward.

Earning second team Trico honors were two players: junior defender Humberto Pulido and senior defender Uli Huerta. He and Wooding were two of Columbia’s seven-player senior group along with Damian Sanchez, Alex Baldwin, Joel Maldonado, Anthony Salcedo and Adan Martinez.

The Bruins finished the season with a 1-0 loss to Bush School of Seattle in the May 30 state semifinals at Federal Way Memorial Field followed by a 4-2 loss May 31 to league rival King’s Way Christian of Vancouver in the third-place match.
