HRV girls lose in state lacrosse semifinals

HOOD RIVER – Top-ranked Jesuit of Portland ended the Hood River Valley girls lacrosse team’s season with a 14-2 win over the Eagles in the 2026 Oregon Girls Lacrosse Association playoff semifinals May 18 at Lakeridge Stadium in Lake Oswego.

The fifth-seeded Eagles (11-5) had won playoff matches May 12, 16-6, over Central Catholic and May 14, 11-10, over host Oregon Episcopal School to reach the semifinals.

Jesuit went on to beat Portland’s Grant High, 11-9, on May 21 to win its sixth successive state championship.
