Playing for pride, the Columbia High volleyball team erased some of the disappointment that comes with a 1-9 record in league matches by winning their 2023 finale, 3-1, at Seton Catholic on Oct. 26.

The Bruins (4-10 on the season) entered the match winless in nine tries in Trico play, but topped the Cougars, 25-20, 25-17, 16-25, 25-17. Seton finished 5-5 and in third place in the Trico.
