The No. 3 ranked Tri-Valley Conference champion The Dalles High Riverhawks are going to the “big dance”, otherwise known as the OSAA Class 4A volleyball state tournament.

The Dalles junior Zoe Dunn bounded to atop the Intermountain Conference track and field ranks in two events at Saturday’s “Need For Speed” Classic meet in Sherwood.

Zoe Dunn and Juan Diego Contreras of The Dalles, and Shaw Burns and Maeve Woodruff of Hood River Valley each won two events at the season-opening Mullen Leavitt Invitational track and field meet Friday in The Dalles.
