The Dalles girls basketball team went into Tuesday’s contest versus 6A Barlow as a major underdog. After trailing by a 17-2 margin in the first quarter, the Riverhawks outscored Barlow 27-22 over the final three quarters and inched to within an eight-point deficit with possession of the ball late in the fourth quarter, but could not execute down the stretch in a 42-29 loss.
