Dufur High Rangers earn needed win, 32-14

The Dufur High Rangers returned home for the first time in five weeks, and celebrated homecoming/senior night with a 32-14 win over the Imbler High Panthers in Special District 2 Class 1A eight-man football Oct. 22 at Dufur High School.

Coming off a costly loss the previous week to the Crane Mustangs in which starters Josh Taylor and Kaleb Pence suffered injuries, the shorthanded Dufur High Rangers responded to the adversity in Class 1A Special District 2 eight-man football. The No. 8 ranked Rangers, guided by Coach Jack Henderson, regained their momentum with a 46-44 win over the Pilot Rock Rockets on Thursday at Pilot Rock High School.
