The No. 21-ranked Sherman County High Huskies qualified for the 32-team OSAA Class 1A volleyball state playoffs following a 3-0 win over the Dufur High Rangers in a Big Sky League district playoff game Wednesday at Condon High School.
The No. 3-ranked The Dalles High Riverhawks volleyball team extended its win streak to 10 following a 3-0 home win over visiting Molalla on Sept. 28 at Kurtz Gym.
For the first time since Sept. 20, 2016, The Dalles volleyball team defeated Pendleton, doing so in four sets, 25-15, 25-17, 7-25 and 26-24 in varsity action Tuesday at Kurtz Gym.

Over the next three sets, however, the No. 11-ranked Lady Buckaroos were dialed in to the tune of 25-15, 25-19 and 25-19 scores to pull off the four-set victory Thursday in Columbia River Conference action in Pendleton.
