Hattenhauers break with the norm

Alex Hattenhauer said he had several ideas in mind with the Second Street Market. He wanted to make the entrance to the Port of The Dalles attractive while at the same time giving his customers an exceptional experience. He also likes beer. The convenience store, across the street from Casa El Mirador, accomplishes all three.

Clems is reopening after a three month closure. The one-time convenience store and deli in downtown Odell is now a restaurant operated by longtime Hood River residents Graciela and Rodolfo Gomez.
