A perceived lack of progress on the SR 14/Bingen Point overpass project led the Klickitat County Board of Commissioners to issue a letter of concern near the end of June.

State Route 14’s growing collection of potholes has routine drivers more than shaken up over the road’s poor condition.

The paving of State Route 14 through Bingen, White Salmon, and Stevenson starts next Tuesday night, July 5, near the turnoff for SR 141 Alternate (the Underwood Cut-off).

A series of unfortunate events surrounding State Route 14 in the Columbia Gorge is leading the Washington State Department of Transportation to schedule a contractor to come in and repair damage to the roadway.

State Route 14 through Bingen will be closed to on-street parking starting at 8 p.m. next Monday, Aug. 31, until 6 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, due to highway paving.
