Voters in Hood River and Cascade Locks Port districts will have races in all commission races on May 19.
Candidates stepped forward to run for a contested seat on the School District as well as for Parks and Recreation – where five candidates will run for three spots.
The Port of Hood River Position 5 drew two candidates, Brian Hardy and Jason Carpenter, along with incumbent Hoby Streich. Meanwhile, Position 4 incumbent Brian Shortt will get a race from Dennis Cullington.
The filing deadline was Thursday for the Special Districts Election in May, and ballots will go out on May 1.
Seats without candidates remain on Transportation District and Parkdale Sanitary District; potential candidates must run as write-ins.
