Women's sports advocates outside Supreme Court

Advocates against transgender participation in women's sports gathered outside the U.S. Supreme Court Tuesday Jan. 13, 2026, as justices heard oral arguments over transgender sports bans. 

(The Center Square) – A national debate over Title IX enforcement continues as the Trump administration investigates schools and universities that allow transgender students to compete in women's sports.

Critics argue federal officials are neglecting other core protections under the law.

In an exclusive interview with The Center Square, Caius Willingham, Senior Policy Analyst at Advocates for Trans Equality, said that the Trump administration's policy on transgender athletes in sports is making all students less safe.

Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-WY) challenges gender ideology in regards to biological sex.
