Local holiday light tradition

      For more than 23 years, Marj and Tony Baker have created a large display of festive Christmas lights at their home along Frankton Road in Hood River every holiday season.

       It’s a Christmas wonderland where people can either drive their cars or walk through the hundreds of Christmas lights and dozens of characters on display.

      “We want to share the Christmas spirit with anyone who wants to check out our display,” said Tony Baker.

      This year’s display has Santa riding in a brightly lit carriage pulled by reindeer, a large 7-foot snowman, carolers, the Grinch, candy canes and lots of other Christmas icons.
