Lisa Willis
Lisa Willis has been promoted to director of catering at the Best Western Plus Hood River Inn.
Willis has worked at the company for 18 years, most recently as catering sales manager in the sales and catering department since early 2015. Before that, Willis was a recognizable face in the food and beverage department as Riverside’s restaurant manager. She worked at Bette’s Restaurant in Hood River prior to joining the staff at the Hood River Inn.
“Lisa has been an asset to the company from day one, and we are fortunate to have her pleasant personality, knowledge of food and beverage, and efficient, responsible demeanor overseeing our catering department,” said General Manager Chuck Hinman.
Willis is the key contact for coordinating special events, meetings, galas and weddings at the Hood River Inn.
“I’m happy to be able to continue relationships with customers in event planning,” Willis said. “I especially enjoy working with brides. Maybe it’s because I raised two boys, so I get emotionally attached in the planning efforts and want each event to be so right. I feel a part in marrying off these girls.”
