HRV celebrates athletics
Hood River Valley High School water polo and cross country athletes were recognized at the Hood River County School District board meeting Dec. 14, held at Pine Grove. The women’s water polo team, coached by Kellie Dunn, placed first at the 4A-5A state championships and earned a first seed ranking; the men’s team, coached by Garrett Hall, placed second at the state championships and earned a third seed; and men’s cross country team, coached by Brandon Bertram, placed fourth in the 5A state championships. The student athletes received HRCSD emblem t-shirts during the recognition and Good News portion of the meeting.
