Family Physician of the Year

Dr. Molly Fauth, arms raised at center, celebrates along with co-workers her honor as Family Physician of the Year from Oregon Academy of Family Physicians. Fauth, who has worked for 12 years at One Community Health in Hood River, received the award Saturday in Portland and arrived that night at Hood River Elks Lodge to a surprise party in her honor. Fauth and others wore “Wonder Woman” garb for the occasion, attended by more than 100 friends, co-workers and family, including her husband, Eric, and sons Sam and Matthew. Fauth, who was nominated by local supporters, said it was the support of her co-workers, family and the community at large that enable her to do the work that yielded the award.
