Dreaming of a White Salmon

 To the “oohs and ahhs” of the crowd, Mayor Marla Keethler and Santa lit up the Christmas tree against the cloudy sky on Sunday night in White Salmon. There were roughly 200 people there enjoying sweet treats and warm drinks, “all in great spirit” despite the few minor rain showers early on that may have kept some away, said Lloyd DeKay, Community Partners Co-chair. The tree lights up every night from now until January, welcoming people into town from the corner of the Riverside bank parking lot.
